Principal's Message

Welcome to Immaculate Conception School! It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that we start this 2017/ 2018 academic year. As the principal of ICS, I am truly honoured to be working within a school community that shares such a wonderful commitment to Catholic Education.

Immaculate Conception has an amazing and dedicated staff. Together, we will continue our faith journey which is guided by our Catholic Virtues. I am proud to be part of a team who strive to ensure that we challenge students to be the best that they can be. We help them to accept their own and others' strengths and challenges and celebrate each other’s successes. We endeavor to help students to see mistakes not as failures, but as essential parts of the learning process.

As a school community, we will continue to lay the foundation for student success in school and in life. We do this by creating strong partnerships between the home, school and Parish. We look forward to working with parents and students to maintain the excitement, enthusiasm and faithful spirit that makes success possible.

We will continue to build on the many wonderful programs and new traditions that our staff, students, and parents have worked so hard to establish over past years. By continuing to work together as partners, we can establish new goals and open new doors that will further enrich the lives and learning of all students. As a community, we can take pride in the accomplishments of all our students and in the many ways we share our Catholic faith and values.

Our parents generously give their time to our school community throughout the year. This is evident through their active participation on School Council, involvement in the organization and facilitation of our Special Lunch Days and Breakfast program. Our parents assist in many ways and are an integral part of our fundraisers. They make a positive difference in the lives of our students and our learning community.
I look forward to being part of the continual academic, spiritual and social growth, as we walk in the path of Jesus and work together as a Catholic school community.

"Let the same character be in you that was in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 2:5).
